Cold!

It is Final. The deed was signed yesterday! Hip Hip Hooray! Here is a nice Christmas Joke for everybody. The wake-up weather was a whopping -4 today. Who knows what it is with the Wind Chill... Something like 40 Below! Did I mention that we were getting out of town for a few days? Ha Ha! Merry Christmas to everyone who takes a look this weekend! See you Soon.

Going Going Gone

Its almost Final.... We signed the paperwork on the house, and it looks to be sold. You never know, but they are taking possession on the 28th. Pretty cool huh? Too say that: "we are happy" would be a giant understatement! If you read the Christmas letter... You may notice that it says "doomed" ceiling in the basement. Well, it was supposed to be "Domed", don't worry.... We will be keeping it. Yes the rumors are true... Angela rolled the truck last Friday night. She was going at a very slow rate of speed, and she had her seatbelt on. We went to the Doctor today, and he said she was fine. So Don't Worry!

Election Withdrawl

I think we will be slowing down on the website/Updates for the next few weeks. With Christmas and Dons wedding, I will not have all the access to the net to make site changes. I have been changing the photo of the house on the front page as we get more snow. This is already an odd winter. We have not seen this kind of snow in our area for years. We did have that Fluke 24 inches in 1999. But that was gone in a week. This stuff is sticking around, and it keeps getting COLDER! (Kinda Glad to be heading out for a few days!). I don't know if I am alone of this.... But I am not sure what we all talked about before the Election. I am in some kind of withdrawal! I have been listening to WLS day and night for the last few months, but now I find myself listening to CD's. I think that I must have been on the edge of disinterest when it finally ended.

Christmas Letter

Got a new Picture of Sammy. Check it out We went up to Chicago this weekend to do a little shopping. Let me tell you, Michigan Avenue a few weeks before Christmas make the mall look tame. Now I know why I use the Internet. Angela wrote a Christmas letter. You may receive it in the mail, but here it is for anyone we forgot.

More Snow

Big snow yesterday and the day before. I went out and took a picture this morning. It was pretty vicious yesterday, so I stayed home and worked. Today I planned on going in. But I parked my car to the North, and filled the engine with snow! Then once I got it started, it shut down and sucked down the battery for 30 minutes. Now its too weak to start! Fun! Why doesn't Don want to move back?

Frozen Manure

How does she do it? I know that Saturday I had planned on sitting on my but all day and doing nothing. Somehow Ang convinced me to start cleaning out the other stall in the barn. The reason it bothers me... I cant remember the "Carrot" that was dangled in front of my nose to get me out there! 30 degrees, frozen manure, and cheap cotton work gloves made this one of my happiest sessions in the barn yet. Pictures of the manure laden barn can be found on the new house page. If you watch the photos page in the next few weeks, you will see some changes in the order. I had to start regrouping families of photos. Don and Anna are the latest recipient of a page. The big Kentucky trip is next. Started my day off right with a flat tire today. This would have been another nice time to have work gloves. The wind chill tonight is supposed to get to 25 below. Actually as I write this... I can hear my trash can getting smacked around next to the barn. I will have to run out and get it. We looked at cars last Friday night. Ang is convinced that she is riding on her cars last prayer. (Its been a long prayer in my mind, I cant believe we still have it.) So, we went down to Forts and looked at Camry's. It will take some effort to get Angela out of a Convertible, and into a 4 door sedan. Plus we still have the other house. So who wants a payment on house to worry about with the addition of a car. Speaking of the other house. We are switching to a great realtor. She sold the house down the street from us in less than 2 months, and she has a great record in Delavan. We will be lowering the home down to 84,000. Cross your fingers! December 1st.

Snow

Snow! We have snow. It wont stick around long... But it looks great. Go to Yahoo and type in Eric Stahl. We are in the top 10 sites listed!!! I am enjoying this, it wont last long.
